With over 11 years in architecture and interior design, I transitioned from structured spaces to the fluid, metaphysical realms of oil painting. As a self-taught artist, I am drawn to the raw materiality of the medium, often blending natural pigments and scratching through layers to reveal the surface beneath the paint. My work explores human narratives where form meets subconscious thought. A defining milestone in my journey occurred in 2024; after just eight months of practice, my work was selected for the Royal Institute of Oil Painters Annual Exhibition at the Mall Galleries, a (lucky) validation of my intuitive process.
